Audrey Legatowicz

My fiber arts journey has brought me to San Angelo from Dallas; where I had taught weaving and fiber arts, and had a gallery. Currently my studio is at the Chicken Farm Art Center; where I create and sell my art. My passion and joy of creating my art involves the interplay of colors and textures; and the endless possibilities of patterns resulting from a variety of techniques.

Belinda Subraman

​Belinda is also a mixed media artist. Her art has been featured in Beyond
Words, Epoch, Flora Fiction, Unlikely Stories, Eclectica, North of Oxford, Raw
Art Review, El Paso News, Litterateur RW, Setu, The Bayou Review,
Red Fez, Chrysalis, Ghost City, Maintenant 16,18 &19 and many others. Her art has been used on the cover of several books and magazines including Here, Which Is Also A Place by Mark DuCharme. In November 2022 she won 2nd Place in the Sun Bowl Exhibit, the longest running art show in the Southwest (since 1949). In 2024 she won Best in Show at the Precious Objects exhibit at Crossland Gallery in El Paso.

Cynthia Ellison

Born and raised in West Texas, Cynthia Hicks Ellison is a self-taught artist.  After a 40 year career in telecommunication services, she picked up a paintbrush.  Years of pent-up creativity and emotion poured onto the canvas in bold unapologetic color.  Her acrylic paintings begin with no preconceived idea, only a joy to create.  Her tool of choice is a palette knife, but her arsenal ranges from a shower squeegee to a cake spatula.  In constant awe of the limitless possibilities in expressing her art, she continues to push her self-imposed boundaries. Intuition guides her as she over amplifies colors of nature and life surrounding her.  Paintings are built layer upon layer creating an interesting history much like life itself.  Each mark initiates a response, and works are allowed to shift as emotions shift.  The metaphor “art is a roller coaster” best describes her feelings as an artist today.

Dani Headrick

I am a 25 year old multifaceted artist-a jack of all trades. I’m a mixed media collage artist. I’m a poet. I’m a singer. I’m a guitarist. I’m an event coordinator. I’m a teacher. Yet I don’t let these titles define me- I define them.

Dave Afflerbach

Dave Afflerbach is a native born Texas based watercolor artist. Dave received his Associates degree in Commercial Art and Advertising from Texas State Technical College in Waco Texas in 1981.
“The best part of art school was my introduction to watercolor” Dave says. “ I fell in love with it and through the years it’s been my go to medium.”
Dave currently travels full time with his wife Susan in their 28ft Airstream camper with six months of each year spent volunteering in Big Bend National Park.
“Big Bend is such an amazing place with so much diversity l don’t think I will ever run out of painting inspiration here.” says Dave. “I feel like it’s my home”

Eric Farley

Born and raised in West Texas, a self taught artist using mixed media techniques including paint pouring, textures and epoxy resin.

Haylie Anicama

Haylie Anicama is an artist and designer based in San Angelo, Texas. Her works are best known for their colorful, lively, and playful art style. She explores various artistic mediums to bring her imaginative ideas to life. Through her use of bold colors and joyful designs, she aims to create pieces that invite viewers into a vibrant, storytelling world.

Juliett Gomez

Juliett Gomez is a visual storyteller. Her paintings explore subjects, both personal and well-known, through a grand contrast of hues, colors, and expressions. She has exhibited her art in various galleries and spaces in West Texas.

Kat Truth

Kat Truth is Kat Bunker, and she has been teaching at Angelo State University in the Art Department for over fifteen years. She prefers adding conceptual tinges to all of her pieces, because ideas are power. She's not a very random artist, so most works fall under a conceptual category despite looking highly expressionistic.

Krista Jewel Murr

Krista Murr is an artist residing in Sonora, Texas. She is a wife and a mother of three children. She works as a children’s minister and enjoys painting and throwing pots during her free time. Krista graduated from Angelo State University in 2015 with a BFA in Studio Ceramics. She illustrated a children’s book titled, “Come and Sit”, written by Robert Speights in 2021, this project spurred a love for Illustration. Since then, she has pursued capturing day-to-day moments and emotions utilizing traditional mediums.

Mary Lambeth

Texas watercolorist, from Midland, with a BFA in Painting from Arizona State University and a Masters in Art Education from Texas Tech University. Currently working in a series of Texas Native Wildflowers.

Susan Wester Perez

​Born in New York City in 1959, Susan moved many times around the US before arriving in Newton, Massachusetts where she spent her formative years. Her mother and both grandmothers were artists and Susan gravitated towards the visual arts from the beginning. She studied art at Massachusetts College of Art, and at University Massachusetts in Amherst, MA. She moved to Los Angeles in the late 1980’s and began working for an art supply store and gallery. It was there she met her husband Jerry and together they moved to El Paso, Texas to be with family. Susan now calls El Paso “home” She finds endless inspiration in the stark beauty of the desert, the colors and patterns in the sky, and the warmth of the people who live there.
